  1. 6 March 2007 - Forum discussion about Sun Slim Diet on www.steadyhealth.com
    "have been on this diet for close to 2 month and I have dropped 1/2 pound. Yes, that is correct! Just 1/2 pound. Further, their guarrantee for money back is worthless. You CANNOT contact them by phone and they do not answer email. SAVE YOUR MONEY!" -- squirrel6114

  2. 15 November 2006 - Reply to a question about weight loss on Yahoo Answers
    "Look up the sunslim diet. You get to eat 5 meals a day. I was on it for awhile and I didn't get hungry." -- plum_eccentric

  3. 16 September 2006 - Sunslim - Does it Work?
    "Its a very boring diet so I cant do 5 weeks straight like it says but one week a month is great for me. I lost 8lbs my first week and kept it off its not all water weight. It is a 5-6 meal a day plan using a lot[sic] of egg whites, tuna, rice cakes, chicken, veggies, rice etc. Very bland but its worth the quick results.

    ...

    Anyways I have now lost 15lbs in 29 days which is right where I wanted to be"

  4. 13 August 2006 - Does anyone have any first-hand info on the "sun slim" diet?
    "I've tried it and it works. The only thing is that it tends to be very repetitive and you will get sick of eating the same thing. But if you can put up with it and follow it exactly, you will see results." -- CC

  5. 20 February 2005 - Weight Loss Discussion on Active Low-Carber Forums
    "At first I was on a diet called Sun Slim. I lost 10 Kgs (22 pounds) in 3 months with exercising regularly (6 times a week) and that was two years ago -- Noura80

  6. Sun Slim Diet discussed on Woman's Day Diet Forums
    21 September 2004 - "In my opinion the diet is worthless and a scam. If you read their ad, it says just try the diet and if you are not satisfied with it for any reason, I will cheerfully refund your money. The problem is they never bother to give you an email or mailing address to write to for you to get your money back. I've written to support@sunslimdiet.com, and all I get is an automatically generated reply that says "I got your email and I'll be getting back to you", but they never do.

    They also claim in their ad that you'll be able to eat foods you are probably already eating. Then when you read the diet, they've got you eating a rice cake for a meal. (sorry, not what I'm already eating or I wouldn't need to lose weight). The diet has a very limited variety of foods that they have you eating every day, and they expect you to keep eating these same few foods forever. Some of the meals are 3 egg whites, or a yogurt, or a rice cake, or a bowl of green beans. I'm sure if you do follow this diet plan, sure you will lose weight, but who can live on this? If you could live on rice cakes you probably would have figured this out already.

    The diet isn't well thought out and I can't believe a doctor came up with this, unless it's just to scam people of their money. If you decide to try it, you probably won't be happy with it, but don't expect to get your money back. BUYER BEWARE!"

    3 September 2004 - "Yes I am on the sun slim diet right now, I hope you check back to this web site I know you wrote a month ago. In one month I have lost 22 lbs and still losing." -- Jroman

  7. 5 August 2004 - "Right now I'm sticking with the Sun Slim Diet it works but it's Chicken, Turkey, Fish all the time. Eek you get so tired of that."
    -- mzrock, member of Beachbody - Fitness, Nutrition & Weight Loss Forum

  8. 16 July 2004 - Sun Slim Diet on HealthBoards.com
    "Has anyone had any luck with the Sun Slim diet? I just paid my $24.95 for the eBook, and instead of being some miracle breakthrough, it looks like a lot of rice cakes and egg whites." -- guitarmom

  9. 4 June 2004 - Any SunSlim Program Folks?
    "It's low-fat, adequate protein, moderate carbs. I decided to try it because I needed something that told me what to eat and when--no choice involved. If left to my own choices, I seem easily able to justify eating things I shouldn't."

    "Don't buy it unless you want a strict, very basic program. It is pretty tough, especially Phase I. Lots of turkey, chicken, and egg whites, but you can substitute protein powder for the egg whites if you can't eat eggs (or hate egg whites, as I do ). At least it is simple--anyone can find the food needed. No fancy recipes, in fact, no recipes at all. Also you are not supposed to weigh yourself for the entire length of Phase I."
    -- JayEll

  10. "While I feel the SunSlim diet has a few limitations (e.g., carb-rich snacks, very low calorie meals on Phase I, a couple of "questionable" statements regarding its effectiveness), its 5 small daily meals are essential to stimulating your metabolism. Properly balanced meals do this effectively as well.

    For those of you who are time-pressed and need a "near-instant" dieting fix, the SunSlim diet is worth a look."

  11. Review of Sun Slim Diet by DietNation.com
    "This diet is probably one of the easiest on the market. You don't have to exercise, you can eat tons of food and all the meal plans and food combinations are ready for you. It almost seems too good to be true, doesn't it?"

    "Pros:
    * Seems to be a safe, easy program
    * Guarantees results
    * Little or no food restriction

    Cons:
    * Weight loss goals seem unrealistic
    * Doesn't incorporate exercise
    * Have to buy the program to follow the diet"
