The following information (points 1 - 11) is what readers, reviewers and other 3rd parties have to say about "PurePoint Golf" DVD's and its authors:

  1. 7 April 2007 - Purepoint Golf Lessons
"Most people were wondering if they were legitimate or not, because their Site leaves a lot to be desired. I never bought anything from them, but I did get to see the videos and lessons (a lot of them anyway). I also signed up for the news letter [sic], and I think that was well worth it. I've probably gotten about 100 emails now over the last year (well, maybe not that much) but my point is, they're good emails, in my opinion. They're all free tips. Of course, the point is to show you that they have good information and good tips so that you'll want to purchase the real lessons." -- GolfComplex.com

  2. 31 October 2006 - PurePoint Golf mentioned in discussion at GolLink.com
"I just received a DVD from purepoint golf called Full swing intermediate By Kyle Hallberg. That is helping a lot. But also looking at other golfers helps to. I am new to golf just so you know" -- Alastair, Senior Member at GolfLink.com

  3. 26 June 2006 - "Believe it or not, I learned a LOT from the guy at Purepointgolf.com. Most importantly, how to hit from a buried [sic] lie and in the sand... and the fact that I can chip a LOT better with my 5 and 7 iron. That, my new Driver, and my new putting-style have literally dropped my handicap by several strokes. -- NothingMan, owner of GolfComplex.com

  4. 9 June 2006 - PurePoint Golf being discussed on Single-Axis forum
    * "Chaz - Do you think the puregolf is worth ordering? It sounds like you are using at least some or there stuff. I have been reading about it and thought about ordering the DVD's" -- SATTHMS

    * "I guess you could say it is worth buying. Although they sort of leave you in the dark with how to start the downswing. The trail shoulder take-away is a real gem though."-- Chazman

  5. More comments about PurePoint Golf made by members of the Single-Axis forum
7 June 2006 - "Tried it, didn't work too well for me, although I liked the right shoulder turn move. I couldn't quite grasp what they wanted you to do for shifting the weight to the lead side, and the hands turning over threw unnecessary [sic] timing into it in MHO." -- Chazman

5 June 2006 - "...purepoint golf is a setup with a standard grip ( interlock recommended light grip only if you are experienced ) but setup with the wrists already cocked liked Bob Manns videos. The backswing is a 3/4 compact swing with no weight shift back ( meaning forward foot stays on the ground . The downswing has a shift forward. The power is derivered [sic] by preset wrist cock and forearm rotation. The overall concept is to do as little as possible since anything more than that will get you in trouble. The hard part is squaring the club off with the forearm rotation and timing it.

I already sold my video or I would have sold it here. Its a good swing for someone who does not have the flexibility and overswings [sic] and moves all over the place thinking the 1 out of 100 balls they hit solid means they have it."
    -- Dave

  6. January/February 2006 - Excerpt from the "What's Hot" section of the Jan/Feb 2006 issue of Golf Illustrated
"A new golf DVD from PurePoint Golf promises to shave at least seven strokes from your average round. Director of instruction Kyle Hallberg teaches golfers the 15 unique fundamentals that have helped players worldwide. The method has been proven to increase a golfer's distance by an average of 45 yards off the tee. Learning the unique, compact swing is made easy through the swing-analysis software. The DVD, which comes with a 90-day money-back guarantee, was shot with a slow-motion camera so players can compare their body movements during the swing to Hallberg's. PurePoint Golf."

  7. 21 January 2006 - Comments from individuals who have used the DVD's.

  8. 02 January 2006 - Press release on World Golf News
"Kyle Hallberg, has spilled the beans and has created a golf swing method, PurePoint Golf that takes away the mystery and art element from a successful golf swing and converts that to a simple, consistent and powerful swing. The DVD covers the 5 essential steps that make up this new golf swing system."

  9. Golf tips videos by golfing instructors like Bobby Eldridge that can be viewed online.

  10. PurePoint Golf's Full Swing DVD Review
"The top questions that come to mind first: who is the instructor? Is he credible? Can he teach and communicate his knowledge?

Well, the instructor is Bobby Eldridge (that's him on the right), the Head Professional at PurePoint Golf. This guy has given over 70,000 individual lessons. Wow, that's a LOT of lessons. To stay in business that long he must be good at what he does.

    ...

The instructions are easy to follow, and there are a lot of them. In fact, the only problem I had was to stay focused and not get carried away by the load of information. My advice is: focus on one particular aspect of your swing first, watch that part a few times and put it to practice

    ...

I like it, I think it's a great product, worth every penny. On first sight one may think the $72 price tag is hefty, but considering the amount of in-depth info presented it's actually a bargain (and it comes with a few freebies, too!)"

    -- Frank J. Peter, LearnAboutGolf.com

  11. "I searched through online golf instructions and videos looking for a system that could help me learn how to swing not just my driver but all my clubs correctly and consistently. What I found was a set of professional golf lessons that started covering the full swing and led right through the entire game to putting techniques. These golf swing lessons were from the Pure Point Golf Academy, and from the first DVD about the full swing that covered the golf swing sequence from grip to follow through I knew it was what I had been looking for.

While I don't consider myself a beginner golfer by any means, this golf swing instruction is perfect for anyone who wants to learn a simple swing that's consistent, or someone seeking beginner golf lessons."
